Pregnant teen, 3 others fall in buy-bust

MANILA, Philippines—A pregnant teenager and three other suspects were arrested in a buy-bust that also yielded a haul of P60,000 worth of crystal meth, or shabu, in Quezon City on Thursday (June 13).

Police identitied the pregnant suspect only as Mona. The three others were Alex Magno, 41; Manuelito Concepcion, 28 and Mary Ann Lacambra, 31.

Undercover cops from from the Talipapa police station bought P200 worth of shabu from the suspects past 4 a.m. on a street at Barangay Pasong Tamo.

Aside from the meth, also seized were a weighing scale and the marked money used for the buy-bust. (Editor: Tony Bergonia)
