MANILA, Philippines — A man who was arrested once for drugs and the two children of a notorious drug pusher ended up in jail for possession of illegal firearms and shabu (crystal meth) in Navotas City on Tuesday afternoon.

Members of the Navotas police arrested ex-convict Emmanuel Monroy, alias, “Emman,” 29; and the children of suspected drug peddler alias Dodong Diamond — Jhofel Quimbo, alias Fhel, 31; and Jonalyn Quimbo, alias “Bibe,” 30; — along the Fish Port in Barangay NBBS Proper at 4:30 p.m.

An initial report showed that police officers were conducting foot patrol near the area when they caught Jonalyn selling shabu to Monroy and Jhofel, which led to a brief chase. Law enforcers, however, managed to stop the suspects.
