MANILA, Philippines – An American fugitive was arrested by the Bureau of Immigration (BI) in his residence in Tarlac City.

Ricky Masanque Sanchez, 44, is wanted by American authorities for violating his parole by fleeing to the country in August 2017, BI Fugitive Search Unit (FSU) head Bobby Raquepo said on Monday.

Sanchez was arrested last Thursday by agents of the agency using a mission order issued at the request of the US embassy in Manila.

“When we received information about his crimes from US authorities about four weeks ago, we immediately conducted a case buildup to pinpoint his location,” Raquepo said in a statement.
