Lightning ignites fire, destroys 14 houses

Fire believed caused by lightning destroyed 14 houses made of light materials at Barangay Capoocan, Calbayog City past 2 p.m. on June 6.

The fire, according to fire officer Roy Marquez, started at the roof of Donna Ecol, which was hit by lightning.

The fire was put out less than an hour after it started. (Editor: Tony Bergonia)
