Duterte declares June 24 as special non-working day in Manila

MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte has declared June 24 as a special non-working day in Manila for the city’s 448th founding anniversary.

Duterte signed Proclamation No. 731, citing that the people of Manila “be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.” (Editor: Julie Espinosa)
