DID YOU KNOW: June 6-12 is Linggo ng Kalayaan

June 6 to 12 was declared Linggo ng Kalayaan by virtue of Proclamation No. 914 signed on June 1, 1992 by President Corazon Aquino.

The proclamation emphasized the need to strengthen nationalism and to instill the value of freedom and democracy in the consciousness and activities of all Filipinos. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
