NGCP: Luzon grid under yellow alert until Tuesday afternoon
Yellow alert raised on Luzon Grid for Tuesday — NGCP
MANILA, Philippines — The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) placed the Luzon grid under yellow alert on Tuesday, June 04, 2019.
In an advisory, the NGCP said the yellow alert on the country’s largest power grid will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
NGCP said the Luzon grid’s available capacity is at 11,746 megawatts, while peak demand is at 10,831 megawatts.

A yellow alert is usually raised when a grid’s reserve power — the difference between supply and demand — is below the required level.
