Couple shot dead in Payatas, QC home

MANILA, Philippines – A married couple was shot dead while their three children were wounded inside their home in Quezon City Monday night.

The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) said that Jonalyn Manuel, 38 and her husband, Jonathan were in their residence in Barangay Payatas-B when an unidentified armed man shot them at around 8:30 p.m.

The couple died on the spot.

Likewise shot and wounded were their three children.

The assassin fled after the attack while the wounded victims were brought to hospital.

Further investigation and pursuit operations against the killer are ongoing. /gsg
