4 suspects, including couple, nabbed for P1M shabu in QC
MANILA, Philippines — A couple and their accomplices ended up in jail after law enforcers found them in possession of more than P1 million worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Quezon City early Saturday morning.
Members of Talipapa police station under supervision of Lt. Col. Alex Alberto arrested couple Mercia Jamirol, 23, and Aldemal Ali, 25, both of Barangay Culiat; and accomplices Benhar Leong, 51, and Assad Shadi, 25, at No. 125 Lanao St., Salaam Compound in Barangay Culiat at 2:35 a.m.
The arrest came after an undercover law enforcer bought P10,500 worth of shabu from the suspects.
Confiscated were 164 grams of shabu valued at P1,115,200, marked money worth P10,500, and a weighing scale.
Cases of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects. (Editor: Julie Espinosa)
