2 arrested in Malabon drug bust, P600K shabu seized

MANILA, Philippines — Police arrested two suspected drug pushers and seized some P680,000 worth of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) in a bust in Malabon City on Saturday.


Malabon Station Drug Enforcement Team agents arrested Marlon Solano, 32, and Matthew Von Erick Soriano, 24, along Teacher Village corner Pla-pla St. in Barangay Longos at 3 a.m.

Seized from the suspects were 23 pieces of heat sealed transparent plastic sachets containing the suspected “shabu” and the P1,000 cash used in the bust.


Complaints for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are now being readied for filing against the suspects who are now in police custody.  (Editor: Mike U. Frialde)
