4 nabbed, shabu worth P400k seized in Legazpi City

LEGAZPI CITY — Anti-narcotics operatives seized on Thursday morning suspected shabu (crystal meth) worth P408,000 from four alleged drug pushers in a buy-bust operation in this city.

Christian Frivaldo, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) acting Bicol regional director,  said in a report that the anti-drugs operatives arrested Dennis Nuñez, 26; Nixon Aguilar, 47; Jing Balaguer, 52, and her son Levis, 27, all residents of Barangay San Roque around 10:45 a.m.

Seized from the suspects were a plastic bag containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu weighing
about 50 grams, a heat-sealed plastic bag also with shabu
weighing 10 grams and other drug paraphernalia.

The suspected shabu has an estimated street value of P480,000, according to Cotton Yuson, information officer of PDEA Bicol.
