MANILA, Philippines — A wing van truck slammed into a post along United Nations (UN) Avenue in Paco, Manila, on Thursday morning, an official from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said.
In photos sent by MMDA spokesperson Celine Pialago, the truck could be seen to have hit the post along the road.
She said the incident was reported at 6:47 a.m.

Citing the initial investigation of authorities, Pialago said the driver took a wrong turn when he was maneuvering the truck.
“Nagkamali daw po ‘yung driver sa pag maneobra ng wing van kaya nabangga ‘yung magkakatabi na poste,” the MMDA official told INQUIRER.net in a text message.
No one was reported injured by the incident and there was no traffic build up in the area, Pialago said. (Editor: Julie Espinosa)
