Collector nabbed for killing man in Ormoc

ORMOC CITY — A lending collector was arrested for purportedly killing a man in Barangay Cagbuhangin in this city at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

His neighbors identified Joseph Boncales, 31, as the one who killed Gilbert Pepito.

Police Staff Sergeant Arvin Sarcilla, in a telephone interview, said Boncales and Pepito had an argument during a drinking session in their place on Sunday night.

Their neighbors were able to pacify them.

But on Tuesday, the two had an argument again. This time, Boncales was armed.
