All consular offices closed on June 5 for Eid’l Fitr — DFA
MANILA, Philippines — All consular offices across the country will be closed on June 5, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said.
In an advisory issued on Wednesday, the Office of Consular Affairs (OCA) said all of its offices will be closed on June 5 in pursuant of Proclamation No. 729 declaring the said date as a regular national holiday in observance of Eid’l Fitr or the Feast of Ramadhan.
The DFA said that applicants whose passports are scheduled to be released on June 5 may claim their passports on June 6 instead. (Editor: Julie Espinosa)
