‘Bikoy’: Entire ‘Ang Totoong Narcolist’ fabricated; LP was mastermind

MANILA, Philippines — Peter Joemel Advincula, the man who claimed he was the “Bikoy” of the “Ang Totoong Narcolist” videos, claimed that the allegations he earlier made against the relatives and allies of President Rodrigo Duterte were not true.
“Ang lahat ng nangyari sa ‘Ang Totoong Narcolist’ video episode 1 to video episode 5, ‘yong nirecord ko no’ng nasa isang kumbento ako, lahat ‘yon pawang scripted, lahat ‘yon pawang kasinungalingan,” he said in a press briefing on Thursday.
According to Advincula, who is now under the custody of the Philippine National Police, said the video series was an effort to discredit administration candidates, including former Special Assistant to the President (SAP) and now senator-elect Christopher “Bong” Go.
He added that key members of the Liberal Party (LP), including Senator Risa Hontiveros, Senator Leila de Lima, and opposition-allied incumbent Senator Antonio Trillanes IV also directed his actions.
“Kasinungalingan kasi may plano ‘yong kabilang kampo, ‘yong kabilang kampo magpaputok ng issue para ma-divert ‘yong attention ng tao, papataas nang papataas ang ratings ng administration candidate samantalang walang pumapasok particularly sa Otso Diretso candidate,” he explained.
“At ito nga ‘yong paputok nong kay Bikoy, para ma-discredit si Senator-elect Bong Go […] hindi totoo ‘yon, walang katotothana lahat lahat ‘yon, at ‘yon pawang orchestrated lamang ng mga nasa-kabilang party which is the Liberal Party under the handling of Senator Antonio Trillanes IV,” he added.
Advincula said he surfaced as he feared for his life as the opposition supposedly had no use for him after the whole Otso Diretso senatorial slate lost in the 2019 midterm elections.
“Hindi ko ho kaya na panindigan ‘yong mga scripted lang ng kwento na ngayong talo na ‘yong mga kandidato nila nararamdaman ko unti-unti na akong nilalaglag, at ang kinakatakutan ko ay baka sila pa ang mag-eliminate sa akin kalaunan dahil wala na akong silbi,” he claimed. (Editor: Mike U. Frialde)
