MANILA, Philippines — Reelectionist Senator Nancy Binay’s family members joined her Wednesday at the proclamation of winning senatorial candidates, sans Makati mayor-elect Abby Binay.

Nancy’s parents former Vice President Jejomar Binay and his wife Elenita Binay alongside Junjun and Ann Binay were in attendance at the proclamation.

“Kasama ko yung parents ko, si mayor Jun tsaka yung sister ko si Ann,” Nancy said in an ambush interview.

Asked if she has talked to her sister Abby, Nancy said: “Hindi pa kami nakakapag-usap.”

Nancy ranked 12th in the midterm election’s senatorial race.

Nancy supported her younger brother Junjun’s mayoralty bid against their sister Abby, who succeeded in keeping her post as Makati mayor.

Meanwhile, the former Vice President joined Abby at the campaign, but lost the congressional bid to Kid Peña. (Editor: Cenon B. Bibe Jr.)
