OLONGAPO CITY — About P500,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) was seized from two suspected drug dealers here on Monday night.

Marlow Estrella, 39, who is in the city’s drug watch list, and Erma Barazar, 33, were arrested during a buy-bust operation in Barangay New Cabalan.

Police said Estrella was caught selling a sachet containing suspected shabu worth P3,000 to an undercover agent at 11:20 p.m.

While the transaction was ongoing, Barazar arrived and bought one sachet of shabu worth P1,500 from Estrella, investigators said.

Police seized from the suspects a total of 175 grams of shabu and the marked money used in the operation.

The suspects will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.  (Editor: Leti Z. Boniol)
