RAMON, Isabela – A 20-year-old motorcycle driver and his sister died after they crashed into a van in Bugallon Norte village on Sunday evening.
Police identified the victims as Walter Nicolas and Kyle Mae Nicolas, 15, both residents of Barangay Gaddanan in San Mateo town.
The van driver, Wilson Peralta, 57, a Land Transportation Office employee, surrendered to the police.
Police said the van maneuvered to the left as it entered an intersection, hitting the victims’ motorcycle at about 10:25 p.m.
The impact had caused the motorcycle riders to be thrown away.
Rescuers brought the Nicolas siblings to the Southern Isabela General Hospital but they were declared dead on arrival.
