Latest PPCRV tally: Revilla slips to 11th place; Villar remains on top

Latest PPCRV tally: Revilla slips to 11th place; Villar remains on top

MANILA, Philippines — Former Senator Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. slipped to the 11th spot in the senatorial race, according to the latest partial and unofficial tally of the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) on Saturday.

According to the latest tally released 3:12 p.m., reelectionist Senator Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III edged Revilla on the 10th spot with 14,530,365 votes.

Now at the 11th place, Revilla is still enjoying a spot in the winners’ circle with 14,529,574 votes.

The PPCRV so far has tallied 86,227 clustered precincts out of the 87,540 vote counting machines nationwide.

Still leading the senatorial race was Cynthia Villar with 25,095,112 votes. Behind her was Grace Poe with 21,898,960 votes.

The other candidates who occupied the third to ninth spot are:

  • Christopher “Bong” Go (20,426,750)
  • Pia Cayetano (19,617,745)
  • Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa (18,777,863)
  • Sonny Angara (18,029,601)
  • Lito Lapid (16,685,778)
  • Imee Marcos (15,717,981)
  • Francis Tolentino (15,347,275)

Reelectionist Senator Nancy Binay completed the so-called “Magic 12” with 14,438,727 votes.
