MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.1 earthquake jolted Sarangani, Davao Occidental early Saturday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The quake’s epicenter was recorded at 427 kilometers southeast of Sarangani, and is of tectonic origin.
Phivolcs said that the temblor struck at 12:58 a.m., and has a depth of 58 kilometers.
No aftershocks and damages were expected, Phivolcs added.
