MANILA, Philippines — Operations of the Light Rail Transit 2 resumed after the line suffered a technical glitch on Wednesday.

In an advisory on its official Facebook page posted 7:27 p.m. Wednesday, the Light Rail Transit Authority said LRT 2 operations were suspended earlier due to a technical problem and passengers were advised to take alternative modes of transportation.

Updating the post later, the LRTA announced the resumption of train operations.

According to LRTA spokesperson Lyn Paragas-Janeo, a train stopped at the Betty Go-Belmonte station at 7:28 p.m. and resumed 7:34 p.m.

Janeo told INQUIRER.net that the cause of the glitch was a “air pressure problem,” a usual problem for trains to stop.

“But our intervention was quick so operations we’re able to resume shortly,” Janeo said in Filipiono.
