Robredo-endorsed lawmaker proclaimed in Camarines Sur

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has officially proclaimed Gabriel Bordado as congressman for third district of Camarines Sur Wednesday morning. Stephanie Florida/Inquirer Southern Luzon

PILI, Camarines Sur — The Commission on Elections (Comelec) here has officially proclaimed Gabriel Bordado as congressman for the third district of Camarines Sur Wednesday morning.

Bordado, who served in various positions, including vice mayor in Naga City, ran under the Liberal Party and was endorsed by Vice President Leni Robredo.

Bordado garnered 102,343 votes. Second to him was Louie Villafuerte who garnered 80,847 votes while Cho Roco garnered 31,305.

This will be Bordado’s second term as the district congressman.
