According to the latest data from the Philippine Statistics Authority and Commission on Higher Education, a total of 1,439,421 female students and 1,179,335 male students — or a total of 2,618,756 students — enrolled in tertiary education during the school year 2017-2018.
The most female-populated program in tertiary education were Business Administration and other related courses.
