Aumentado reelected representative in Bohol’s 2nd district

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol — Incumbent Bohol Second District Rep. Erico Aristotle Aumentado was reelected after winning by a huge margin over his opponent.

Aumentado got 131,904 votes compared to Board Member Agapito Avenido’s 53,862 votes.


He was proclaimed the new representative of Bohol’s second district about 11:30 a.m.

Aumentado was accompanied by his wife Vanessa, mother Greenie, and his siblings.


The proclamation was done after 95 percent of votes cast here have been canvassed.

Aumentado thanked his supporters for their unwavering support.

“I promise to continue to help you in whatever way I can,” he told the Inquirer after the proclamation.

Meanwhile, Board Member Alexie Tutor was also proclaimed representative of Bohol’s third district.

Tutor garnered 74,991 votes while her closest rival, former Carmen Mayor Conchita Toribio Delos-Reyes, had 65,954 votes. (Editor: Leti Boniol)
