LOOK: Bong Go prays for Duterte, enlightenment
MANILA, Philippines – Senatorial aspirant Bong Go sought divine guidance before casting his vote in the midterm elections on May 13, 2019.
The former Special Assistant to the President said he visited the Carmelite Church in Davao City on Monday morning. He then prayed for enlightenment so he could serve the country better.
Go said he lighted a candle and also prayed for good health for President Rodrigo Duterte.
After the church visit, he proceeded to his voting precinct at the Buhangin Central Elementary School.
He said he stood and waited in line for two hours and 40 minutes before he could vote at 11:40 a.m.
