At 9:08 a.m., Revilla edged incumbent Sen. Nancy Binay and ranked 11th with 14,005,543 votes.
Meanwhile, reelectionist Senators Cynthia Villar and Grace Poe, as well as former Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go, Pia Cayetano, and former Bureau of Corrections chief Ronald de la Rosa remained as front runners.

On December 7, 2018, the Sandiganbayan Special First Division cleared Revilla of plunder.
He was accused of allocating P224.5 million from his “pork barrel,” or Priority Development Assistance Fund, to bogus non-government organizations owned by mastermind Janet Lim-Napoles. (Editor: Cenon B. Bibe Jr.)
