Revilla snatches 10th place in PPCRV unofficial tally
MANILA, Philippines — Former Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr. snatched the 10th place from reelectionist Sen. Aquilino Pimentel III, the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV) Transparency Server’s partial and unofficial tally as 11:26 a.m. bared Tuesday.
The former lawmaker recently acquitted of plunder now has 14,093,281 votes, slightly outnumbering Pimentel’s 14,089,180.

As of posting, 94.47 percent of the nationwide election returns or 82,996 of 87,851 election returns have already been transmitted.
At 9:08 a.m., Revilla edged incumbent Sen. Nancy Binay and ranked 11th with 14,005,543 votes.
Meanwhile, reelectionist Senators Cynthia Villar and Grace Poe, as well as former Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go, Pia Cayetano, and former Bureau of Corrections chief Ronald de la Rosa remained as front runners.

On December 7, 2018, the Sandiganbayan Special First Division cleared Revilla of plunder.
He was accused of allocating P224.5 million from his “pork barrel,” or Priority Development Assistance Fund, to bogus non-government organizations owned by mastermind Janet Lim-Napoles. (Editor: Cenon B. Bibe Jr.)
