Keon poised to unseat Fariñas as Laoag mayor

LAOAG CITY – Laoag mayoral candidate Michael Marcos Keon was seen unseating reelectionist Mayor Chevylle Fariñas in the midterm elections.

Keon garnered 28,926 votes while Fariñas obtained 27,560 votes in partial, unofficial election result here.

Only votes from the villages of Bacsil South and North have yet to be transmitted but partial tallies showed Keon was also leading in these two villages.
