CEBU CITY, Philippines — The city of Bogo and the towns of Medellin, Daanbantayan, and San Remegio in Cebu’s fourth district suffered brownouts Monday after a power grid tripped off at 7:45 p.m.
Power was restored at 9:30 p.m.
Lawyer Veronico Petalcorin, Commission on Election (Comelec) Central Visayas director, said the power interruption will not affect the canvassing of votes since each voting machine is loaded with batteries. (Editor: Eden Estopace)
