Isko Moreno still leads in Manila mayoral race

MANILA, Philippines — Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso is poised to dethrone re-electionist Joseph Estrada as Manila mayor.

Initial results from the City Board of Canvassers on Monday showed that Moreno led the race for the city’s top post.

As of 9:07 p.m, Moreno garnered 328,031 votes while Estrada got 191,993 votes.

Alfredo Lim, meanwhile, got 126,644 votes. (Editor: Abe Cerojano)
