Baronda poised to win Iloilo City congressional race

ILOILO CITY-Former Iloilo City councilor Julienne Baronda is poised to win as representative of the lone district of Iloilo City after her closest rival Iloilo councilor Joshua Alim conceded Monday evening.

Baronda garnered 110,294 votes with 373 of 388 clustered precincts canvassed. Alim came in second with 71,202 votes. (Editor: Abe Cerojano)
