Clear skies with scattered rains expected Monday evening in Luzon

MANILA, Philippines — Clear skies with a chance of thunderstorms and scattered rainshowers are expected Monday evening in some parts of Luzon, according to the state weather bureau in its 4.p.m forecast.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration’s (Pagasa) said the expected maximum temperature in Tuguegarao will be around 35 degrees Celsius. It will be 32 degrees Celsius in Laoag and 25 degrees Celsius in Baguio.

Meanwhile, the expected maximum temperature in Metro Manila will be around 36 degrees Celsius. It will be 34 degrees Celsius in Legazpi, 33 degrees Celsius in Puerto Princesa, and 32 degrees Celsius in Tagaytay.

Visayas and Mindanao will experience fair weather with a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening, according to Pagasa.

In Iloilo and Cebu the expected maximum temperature is 34 degrees Celsius. In Tacloban, it will be around 33 degrees Celsius while Davao is expected to have a maximum temperature of about 34 degrees Celsius.

Pagasa also said it expects fair weather around the country in the next three days, with a chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening. (Editor: Eden Estopace)
