MANILA, Philippines — Less than two hours before the closing of polling precincts, President Rodrigo Duterte cast his vote on Monday at the Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School in Davao City.

Dressed in a black polo shirt and black pants, Duterte arrived at precinct 1245A around 4:30 p.m. accompanied by his wife Honeylet Avanceña.

Before casting his votes, Duterte looked over his ballot first.

Unlike in the 2016 elections, the President did not use his wooden historical chair.

In several instances, Honeylet was seen assisting him and even giving him a piece of paper.

Duterte shaded his ballot for around 15 minutes before his ballot was fed to the machine and was accepted at 4:51 p.m. (Editor: Julie Espinosa)
