Long lines greet ex-president Noynoy Aquino in Tarlac precinct

Long lines greeted former president Benigno Aquino III as he will be casting his vote at Precinct 67 in Tarlac City on Monday, Election Day.

According to a report by GMA News’ Rida Reyes, Aquino was already in line for more than an hour. No special treatment was given to him.

“Hindi ko na iniisip ‘yun, basta umaabante kami okay na ko,” Aquino said.

While waiting in line, Aquino said he would reflect who are the candidates who would made it to his list aside from those from the Otso Diretso opposition slate.

“Maganda ito, mahaba pa ‘yung pila, mahaba pa ‘yung pagdedebatehan ko sa sarili ko. Kung isasama ko o hindi,” Aquino said.

Meanwhile, some vote counting machines in Precinct 67 malfunctioned, the report said. (GMA Eleksyon 2019)
