TAGBILARAN CITY, Philippines — The presence of policemen at poll centers in Inabanga town, one of the Bohol towns included in the election watch list, made voters safe and comfortable in casting their votes on election day, May 13.
Gerwin Yudelmo, 28, a resident of Barangay Poblacion in Inabanga town, went to Inabanga South Central Elementary School to vote.
“I feel safe,” he said because of the presence of two policemen inside the school.
Yudelmo said it took him just two minutes to cast his vote, while it took the vote counting machine a minute to verify his vote.
“It was efficient,” he said.
There were 22,799 registered voters in Inabanga town with 48 voting centers. (Editor: Mike U. Frialde)
