MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte’s tirades against his staunchest critic, Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV, continue.

Speaking at the last campaign sortie of the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino–Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) in Pasig on Saturday, the President took a swipe at Trillanes again.

“Just because you are a graduate of what? PMA [Philippine Military Academy] and you think that you are smart? Then you get into adventurism. You are elected, then you abuse people,” Duterte, speaking partly in Filipino, said in his speech.

“You try to act brave. You think you have three balls. In that case, you’re abnormal,” he added.

The President also blasted Magdalo, Trillanes’ party, and Magdalo Rep. Gary Alejano, who is now a senatorial candidate.

“Soldiers who are also idiots and who think because they are soldiers they know better than you — and they do all sorts of things. And that could be a warning to you, Magdalo, Trillanes and Alejano. Be careful with soldiers who are into adventurism,” he said.

“I love my military. I love my police. But be careful about military adventurism. Trillanes, along with Magdalo, Alejano, they talk like they have a master’s degree,” he added.
