MANILA, Philippines — Erik Santos and Jason Gainza were among the celebrities who showed support for Makati Mayor Abby Binay in her bid to win the mayoral post again.
Santos serenaded supporters of Binay’s Team Performance at the miting de avance held on Metropolitan Avenue, in Makati City on Friday.
Meanwhile, Gainza, comedian Empoy Marquez, character impersonator Kaladkaren Davil, and actress Niña Dolino were the hosts for the event.
Actor Epy Quizon also graced the miting de avance to represent former presidential aide and senatorial candidate Christopher “Bong” Go.
Aside from the lady mayor, her father, former Vice President Jejomar Binay also graced the event.
The elder Binay is a candidate for Makati City first district congressman.
