MMDA to motorists: Take alternate routes as roadworks set from May 10-13
MANILA, Philippines — Metro Manila motorists were advised to take alternate routes as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) is set to conduct several road reblocking and repairs this weekend.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said DPWH roadworks will begin by 11 p.m. Friday, May 10, and will end by 5 a.m. Monday, May 13, on the following areas:
SOUTHBOUND
* Edsa before Aurora Boulevard (Second lane from sidewalk) and before Monte de Piedad (Third lane from sidewalk)
NORTHBOUND
* Edsa fronting Baliwag Transit to New York Street (First and Second lane from the sidewalk)

“Motorists are advised to avoid the said areas and use alternate routes instead,” MMDA said. /kga
