Suspected drug pusher shot dead in Laguna buy-bust
SAN PEDRO CITY-A suspected drug pusher was killed in a shootout with the police in Calamba City in Laguna province on Friday.
Laguna police chief Col. Eleazar Matta said police conducted the buy-bust in Barangay (village) Palingon at around 12:35 a.m.
Matta said suspect Gerry Simon Bonsa, 34, drew and fired his gun when he realized he was transacting with undercover police officers.

Bonsa died while being rushed to a hospital, police said.

Recovered from Bonsa were a .38 caliber gun and at least two sachets of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth). /muf
