Looking for your polling precinct? Message us on Twitter – Comelec

MANILA, Philippines – The Commission on Elections (Comelec) is tapping social media to help voters find their respective polling precincts ahead of the May 13 midterm elections.

Its online precinct finder has yet to be activated as the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) is still working on it.

“Dear Voters, the precinct finder on our website has yet to be activated. For the meantime, our platform here in Twitter is ready to help you find your polling precincts,” the Comelec said in their twitter account @radyocomelec.

Voters will have to send a message to the election body with their full name including their middle name, the locality where they are registered voters, and birth date via Twitter.

For married female voters, they may submit their full maiden name and married surname.

“(We) will get back to you as soon as we get the information requested,” the Comelec added.  /gsg
