CSG suspends frontline services to make way for poll duties

MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police’s (PNP) Civil Security Group (CSG) has suspended the frontline services of its units from May 10 to 14 to “give priority for election duties.”

In an advisory on Thursday, the CSG announced that the services of units were suspended:

ADVERTISEMENT

-Firearms and Explosives Office
-Supervisory Office for Security and Investigation Agencies
-One Stop Shop
-Regional Civil Security Units.

Normal operations will resume on May 15, the CSG said. /jpv
