MANILA, Philippines — Former presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda belittled Malacañang’s new oust-Duterte matrix as “The Grade School Matrix.”
The updated matrix was revealed to the media by Palace spokesperson Salvador Panelo on Wednesday, this time tagging members of the Liberal Party, Magdalo Party-list, veteran journalists, and media outfits in an alleged plot to oust President Rodrigo Duterte.
Lacierda was among those mentioned in the said matrix.

“This government seemed to have discovered a new technology called The Grade School Matrix as this is the third time this government employed a matrix to refute charges against them,” Lacierda said in a statement.
The former Cabinet official even mocked his inclusion in the latest matrix produced by Malacañang, saying he must have been included because he has been an “active liker of Gary Alejano’s posts on Facebook.”
“If that is true, this government has all abandoned its sanity,” Lacierda said. “It is also curious to note that Sec. Panelo has distanced himself from The Grade School Matrix.”
“I have no involvement whatsoever with the Bikoy video,” he then emphasized, referring to the controversial “Ang Totoong Narcolist” videos that implicated members of Duterte’s family as well as his long-time aide Bong Go in the illegal drug trade. /kga/ac
