Arrested robbery suspect yields grenade in QC
MANILA, Philippines — Police seized a hand grenade from a man who was arrested for suspected robbery in Quezon City on Monday night.
Quezon City Police District arrested suspect Julius Batac, 26, along Mindanao Avenue, Barangay Project 6, Quezon City at 8:00 p.m.

Batac was arrested by virtue of a warrant issued by Judge Juris S. Dilinila-Callanta of the Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 85.
Police said that as the arresting officers were frisking Batac, they found the hand grenade on him.
Batac is now in the custody of the Masamabong Police station while the hand grenade was sent to the police explosive and ordnance disposal unit for disposition. /muf
