MANILA, Philippines — The weather bureau is tracking a low pressure area outside the Philippine area of responsibility.
As of 4 a.m., Monday, the weather disturbance was 1,265 kilometers east of Mindanao. It has no direct effect on the country, weather specialist Meno Mendoza said.
Meanwhile, the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley and the province of Aurora will have cloudy skies and scattered rain due to a frontal system affecting Northern Luzon.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have fair weather with chances of isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms. /cbb
