Duterte could have trouble sleeping if ‘Bikoy’ allegations are true — Trillanes

MANILA, Philippines — If “Bikoy’s” drug allegations are proven true, President Rodrigo Duterte could have trouble sleeping, Senator Antonio Trillanes IV said.

“Kung totoo yung Bikoy allegations, matinding nerbyos na ang inaabot ni Duterte. Believe me, baka di na makatulog nang maayos yan,” Trillanes said over AM radio station DWIZ.

Trillanes said this after the National Bureau of Investigation arrested Rodel Jayme, the creator of metrobalita.net which published the “Bikoy” videos.

The videos linked presidential son Paolo Duterte, long-time aide of the President, Christopher “Bong” Go; and presidential daughter, Kitty, to the illegal drug trade.

The senator added that the allegations made in the “Bikoy” videos could be true based on the President’s reaction. Trillanes said the Palace even affirmed an Oust-Duterte matrix which involved “Bikoy” and several journalists.

“Based on what I am seeing, yung reaction nila Duterte parang kaduda-duda. Lalo akong nacu-curious baka may katotohanan ang sinasabi kasi kung nerbyosin sila,” Trillanes said.

“Naglabas na sila ng matrix meron daw foreign intelligence pa siyang ginamit,” he added.

Malacañang released a diagram which bared the alleged links between members of the National Union of Peoples’ Lawyers, the Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism, online news outfit Rappler and fact-checker Vera Files.

The diagram was also showed in a report published by broadsheet Manila Times on April 22, saying media groups are involved in an ouster plot against the President.  /muf
