MANILA, Philippines — The water level in Angat Dam in Norzagaray, Bulacan continued to dip on Saturday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
In a 6 a.m. advisory, the dam’s water level went down to 177.03 meters — a 0.47-meter difference compared to Friday’s 177.50 meters.
The Ipo Dam also saw a drop in its water level, as it was 100. 98 meters down from Friday’s 101.02 meters.
Pagasa also recorded a dip in the following dams compared to Friday’s recorded water level:
- Pantabangan Dam (194.86 meters from 194.93 meters)
- San Roque Dam (247.33 meters from 247.86 meters)
- Ambuklao Dam (740.13 meters from 740.19 meters)
Meanwhile, Pagasa saw that La Mesa Dam’s water level remained the same at 68.44 meters.
Other dams such as the Binga, Magat and Caliraya went up on Saturday. /jpv
