Motorcycle rider dies in vehicle collision in Navotas
MANILA, Philippines — A 47-year-old motorcycle rider died in a road accident along R-10 Road in Navotas City on Friday morning.
According to Navotas City Police Station, the accident happened around 7:21 a.m. in front of the SLORD Development Corporation.
Initial investigation showed that a Hino Truck (model ABB6196) driven by Anthony Bernardo sideswiped the PMR motorcycle (N04-89-11454) driven by the victim, Fred Pineda, causing the latter to fall on the pavement.

Both vehicles were traveling along the Northbound lane of R-10 in Barangay NBBS in Navotas.

Pineda sustained injuries on his head and body and died on the spot.
Bernardo and both vehicles were brought to Navotas City police station for proper disposition. /ee
