Another ‘drug pusher’ dead in Laguna

SAN PEDRO CITY — Another suspected drug pusher was killed in a police buy-bust operation in Calamba City in Laguna province on Friday afternoon.

Laguna police chief Col. Eleazar Matta, in a text message, said the police conducted the buy-bust around 3 p.m. in suspect Eduardo Dumasing’s residence in Barangay (village) Prinza.

The suspect allegedly drew a gun and fired that forced police officers to shoot him down.

Police recovered a .45-caliber gun and a sachet of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) which the suspect allegedly tried to sell an undercover policeman.

Dumasing was the third killed in Laguna over the last two days in a police anti-drug operation, after Rolando Castillo in San Pablo City and Von Ryan Castillo (not related to Rolando) in Sta. Cruz. Maricar Cinco
