MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.0 earthquake struck Sarangani, Davao Occidental on Friday at 12:57 p.m., the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
The epicenter of the tectonic quake was found 78 kilometers (km) southeast of Sarangani, with an 86-km depth.
No damages and aftershocks are expected, according to Phivolcs. /muf
