MANILA, Philippines — Some rallyists displayed creative banners and other items to denounce contractualization and vote-buying during a protest at the Liwasang Bonifacio in Manila that marked this year’s Labor Day.

Ludynela Hamor of National Confederation of Labor (NCL) brought a banner which demanded to stop vote-buying as election day nears.
